artist statement and inspiration

This work is about a woman who offers shelter and protection to those around her. She is an inspiration for any female. This painting exudes strength through the different mixtures and layers, the dense textures and smooth composition.

As in life, when a being has a lot of light, nothing can cloud it.

This beautiful woman who contemplates universes, protects the beings in her lap, and dominates every world she faces.

The brightness surrounding her lights her way and fills her with healthy and useful thoughts which in turn positively affect the lives of all she encounters."
