artist statement and inspiration

“In my pursuit of the human figure are born sketches in the form of dancing muses - similar but different - interposing their lines and their bodies one above the other. Or it might be an ancient scroll full of memories.

For me, mechanical memory and significant memory go hand in hand with connectivism.

It represents a pause just waiting to be analyzed, and this pause is a delight coming from nowhere.

The same nebulous forms that my hand forces me to draw over and over again come and go... giving calm to my mind full of intertwined memories... memories of my memories that inhabit me here and now."
