artist statement and inspiration

"This artwork encapsulated in a wooden and glass box allows the viewer to contemplate. The forms of cutting and making in its doubles and seams arouses curiosity.

The naturalness of its raw fibres and the textiles and cuts that make up the work capture the attention of the viewer.

This cut-and-cut theme, making looms, textures and hems create a craft-like origami made of canvas by decomposing the primary elements and using them as ingredients to recompose and mend."
