Boyd Bishonga
(b.1996, Lusaka) Bishonga, a prolific artist, lives and breathes through his work, sleeping, eating and painting in his small studio in Lusaka, Zambia.
His work explores the overcoming of fears, addictions and the fight for human rights. The expression of these complex concepts is done with a contrasting vibrancy. Boyd’s ability to be blunt both on and off the canvas allows his work to take its own direction, pushing beyond the boundaries of conventional imagery.

Bishonga’s first UK solo exhibition will that place in London next year.
